The right bedroom layout contributes significantly to a well-balanced, well-grounded room with a harmonious energy flow.
Design layout 1
As the largest item in the room, the bed is best placed diagonally from the bedroom door, has a solid wall behind it plus a solid headboard. A bedside table on either provides symmetry, balance and grounding energy. The bedside tables don’t need to be identical, you can be as creative as you like with the types of tables used while making sure the bed is supported on both sides. A rug further grounds the energy of the bed and the whole bedroom, bringing more strength to the bedroom layout. An armoir should be positioned at the foot of the bed (not to one side). This is important to keep the energy in the bedroom balanced.
The bed doesn’t have to be in the centre of the wall as this will depend upon the positioning of windows and doors. As long as the bed is diagonally from the door and as far from the door as possible.
Design layout 2
A second option is where the bedroom door is to the side yet the bed is still further away from the door, has a solid wall behind it with a solid headboard and bedside tables on either side for balance and grounding energy. The bed is balancing the energy between the two beside tables and the chest of drawers at the foot of the bed. Imagine this is like an invisible triangle between the two bedside tables and the chest of drawers.
Design layout 3
A third option for a successful bedroom layout is where the bed is on the same wall as the door, yet is well away from the door while still being protected and grounded with a bedside table on either side.
